Confirm NVMe support, PCIe generation, M.2 length and heatsink clearance. A 2230 drive and a 2280 drive are different physical sizes.
Maximum sequential speeds do not measure game loading or long writes after the SLC cache fills. Compare independent tests of the exact capacity and workload.
Some drives use onboard DRAM; others use Host Memory Buffer. A DRAM-less design alone does not rule out an OS drive. Consider the full design and workload.
