What does 16–48TB of usable NAS storage cost?
Choose the capacity you need after redundancy, then compare drive sets that reach that same target. For example, 2 × 16TB in RAID 1 and 4 × 8TB in RAID 6 both provide 16TB before overhead, but need different bay counts and tolerate different failures. The cheapest set is not automatically the right layout.
These array estimates use catalog models classified for NAS or enterprise use, with verified CMR SATA specifications. Each estimate multiplies one model's unit price by the drive count; new and used / renewed stay separate. Quantity availability, enclosure, shipping, tax and a separate backup are not included. Unknown conditions or availability, ambiguous model matches, known listing errors and prices older than 24 hours are excluded.
Price per TB is the displayed item price divided by decimal capacity (1TB = 1,000GB). It excludes tax and any shipping charges or coupons not included in that price. After selecting the lowest offer per model and condition, we choose the lowest price at each capacity. This is a sample of listings we track, not every Amazon seller or the entire US market.
