We join manufacturer-sourced model records to verified Amazon US ASINs, then compare USD offers by exact condition. Only models documented as 3.5-inch CMR SATA HDDs at the listed capacities qualify. The offer capacity must match the manufacturer record. Unknown conditions, ambiguous model matches, known listing errors, out-of-stock offers and prices older than 24 hours are excluded.
Price per TB is the displayed item price divided by decimal capacity (1TB = 1,000GB). It excludes tax and any shipping charges or coupons not included in that price. After selecting the lowest offer per model and condition, we choose the lowest price at each capacity. This is a sample of listings we track, not every Amazon seller or the entire US market.
